I'm with matspart3 on this one , there really is nothing to beat having approach procedural understanding under your belt when you are sitting there looking at the radar screen.

I don't care what the Engineers tell you - I have seen what can happen when a colleague loses his radar screen and has no idea what to do proceduraly to rectify matters
