Unlike conventional helicopters the Defiant incorporates a rigid rotor (no flapping hinge). This drives tremendous loads into the mast. Just hope is beefy enough for fatigue life.
The big diameter also allows space to run the controls internally for reduced drag.
Any updates for when first flight is planned?
