The trouble checks were always "F**k Me, I'm In Trouble!"
FUEL - quantity, pressure, selection of tanks
MIXTURE- go Full Rich, or if already there, try a small movement back
IGNITION - Mags both
INSTRUMENTS - any obvious indications?
THROTTLE - see if there is any response to movement.
