Officers Mess was well placed for the border and had its own private beach; wonder what it's used for nowadays?
A few years ago, the old RAF OM had become a Joint Service SNCO Mess, I believe; and
AFAIK there was (is?) a Joint OM in town, somewhere near the Governor's house (The Convent)
