FTE Jerez and Vueling

Hi all,

I have recently been accepted onto the self-sponsored course at FTE Jerez however, the current waiting list means that the start date is in 2020. I was informed that whilst I waited, I could try to apply to airlines that use FTE to train their sponsored cadets. I have since applied to Vueling since the requirement to speak Spanish was dropped and I have been informed that I could be invited to interview in February with an April start date.

Would anyone be able to inform me of what working for Vueling is like and what it is like to work with Vueling (i.e. Base allocation, cadet starting wage, shift patterns, overall feel for the company) and if there are any real downsides of having an MPL if I have an OML restriction until 2023? I will also be applying to any other airlines that open up in the new year if FTE allows me to.

I am not interested in training elsewhere or going modular. Due to a situation with my FAA medical I was unable to commence training with CAE and since read into and got accepted into FTE. The whole application process of applying to somewhere else is too long and I am looking to commence training as soon as possible.

Many thanks in advance.
