Bit of terminology coming up. So the flap manoeuvring speed is vref+ 40,60,80 for flaps 5,1,0 and gives full capability at those speeds (at least 40deg aob). This is based on ac weight.

Min man speed is a function of angle of attack and ias. It is dynamic so you will see it move during a turn eg. It is only displayed on ac with speed tape so some of my 757s have no speed tape and there is no knowledge of this speed. “During​ normal conditions, the flap​ maneuver speed for the current flap ​detent should always be equal to​ or faster than the minimum​ maneuver ​speed.” This last bit is copy from FCTM.

i am surprised that the top of the amber band is at +80 - is it possible there is a software or programming fault?
