My apologies for so many questions but I need to get to the bottom of this.
1. Is there a difference between a maneuvering speed (say Vref30+80) and a MINIMUM maneuvering speed for a specific flap position?
2. If so, how does one calculate it?
3. What is the difference between a stall speed and a MINIMUM flap maneuvering? and how is it calculated?
On the Captain sim 757 speedtape, the top of the amber band goes right up to 220KIAS after flap retraction - that is the flap maneuvering speed for a 220 000 lb take off after flap retraction, but surely the amber band should be at a much lower speed.
Please help and put me out of my confusion!!!!!!!!!!
