I have a similar problem, but unfortunately no remedy.
My Mini iPad will no longer run PPRuNe without constantly crashing and the page reloading, then the forum page is replaced by an error message telling me it will reload no more due to repeated errors.
No other website I use gives the same problem.
I blame the plethora of pop-up adverts now inhabiting this place.
