And wasn't the B1900 "certification" an interesting story, refusal by the insurance company to cover the aircraft if the "authority" was going to fly it, cooked engines, huge $$$ losses, litigation. Max could and should have written a book about it.
I was only on the sidelines for that one, anybody remember more detail ---- the present incompetence of CASA is nothing new.
