America doesn't abide by the ICAO aircraft registration protocol either. So what? The opposite end of Runway 1 is probably Runway 19. I am not American. America can do what ever it wants. I like America. I fly in my private aircraft to America every two years. It is a pleasure.
The mystery aerodrome? A 1908 demonstration tour? Looking at the style of hats and caps, I am thinking America.
