Aircraft Mechanic Info.
Hello. I know this is mainly a pilot forum, however, I know this is probably the best place for info on aviation visas. My previous director of maintenance in Botswana has recently converted his CAAB aircraft engineer cert to an FAA A/P in the hopes of finding work and moving his family to the US. He has about twenty years of experience as an aircraft mechanic, and is English fluent. Does anyone have any info I can pass on? I've called a few places I used to wrench and fly for, and they will not provide sponsorship for a Visa. He is willing to move anywhere in the US if it can get his family to the States.
