Simply put - a work/lifestyle balance that is unsustainable.

If you worked here till you are 65, you will have notched up tens of thousands of hours in your log book whilst hopefully having a healthy bank balance too, yet life outside of work will seem to have passed quickly by in a haze.

Numerous anniversaries, birthdays, kids school events etc missed, along with hundreds and hundreds of weekends spent away from the family, with no competitive part-time package available to help counter this skewed balance.

Legacy airlines around the world are seeing more and more crew opting for some form of part-time working and we at EK often work harder than our peers who are doing exactly that. 'Go figure' as they say!
