FR24 says it came OUT of Blackpool having been diverted there enroute to WRT from LBA so BLK can clearly still take 737-800s, light anyway. However, the playback does not show this - just continuous low level curcuits.
This seems to be a regular thing - Jet2 aircraft was doing low tight circuits over the Ribble estuary close to BAE Warton on Thurs 29 Nov. Don't know whether/where it was landing in between.
