Makes me feel quite sad that after March next year that sound will be just a memory, at least for the UK.
I notice that what seems to be the majority of Typhoon takeoffs are in dry which although still impressive is not as exciting as in reheat.
Slight digression but sticking with Typhoon, on youtube there are several night takeoffs in dry but you can easily see the heat glow from the two EJ200 engines. Really interesting to see how hot the exhaust gases are.
