You also trash your own dig at me about the LGW slots, I’m fully aware they were sold to EZY but as I understood the NQY slots were either new or withheld from the original package. Why would EZY sit on them for so long?

If true all I can say is that I find it unbelievable that we've been discussing the financial status of Flybe and now we get this.
If and when it's officially confirmed good luck to Flybe in not only gaining these slots at LHR and great for NQY in regaining a link again to LHR after many years since Brymon was flying the route plus it reinforces the R3 debate where LHR have publicly stated that domestic flights would be ring fenced.
Although in saying that this news has totally surprised me as I'm sure it has done with others.
