When Waddington was closed 51 operated from Mildenhall. As I understand they are pretty much integrated anyway.
Waddington is chokka right now and although I believe 5 Sqn are on the way out in a similar timescale, that still won't free up a great deal of space for 135's. There is no accommodation for hundreds of new arrivals either. The RAF is so short of quarters in the area they've bought up great tranches of new builds at Greylees and North Hykeham to cope with demand for MQs.
