There are fewer than 300 registered GA aircraft in Ireland, mostly singles, and that includes rotary and homebuilts. The Air Corps has three fixed wing aircraft bigger than a trainer. Ireland has 20% of Australia's population and I'd guess 5-10% of its aviation activity. At the very most.
