Aer Lingus do face a pilot shortage but are addressing recruitment with an impressive cadet programme. Meantime their owners IAG are offering their Iberia pilots a 12% pay increase, one extra weeks leave per annum and medical benefits for 10 years beyond retirement age. BA likely to get something similar.
Meantime back in HKG COS18 is seen as the way forward, Cut, cut,cut and they will come.
