I've noticed that as well. Strangely enough, I sometime get replies with a single question "What's your current salary?", and obviously it must be higher than average as my reply stops any further communication with them.
And about the EmiratesCareer website, I never had any answer from them, even not an ack that my CV has been reviewed. Waste of time.
