Does to me. Stobart spent big money on regional air services from SEN to MAN and GLA, only to abandon the project and move on (fair enough).
Is it just a coincidence that a certain former director lives literally around the corner from the airfield? Was CAX just a part of someone's belief that Stobart could become no 1 UK (and Eire) regional air operator?
I' m not saying that commercial aviation at CAX will not happen. I just wonder how high up making it happen is on Stobart's priority list.
Does the Stobart group still have a Cumbrian link?
