Southampton is definitely more suitable to UK domestic. easyJet however would probably only be able to offer a maximum of two daily services to the likes of Belfast, Glasgow etc etc so any loss of Flybe would see a reduction in the frequency of services. But given their proximity to LHR is that such a bad thing? As a customer I know I would prefer to fly on a jet than Flybe rickety old turboprops
Nothing rickety about turboprops. In the end it's an aircraft that gets you from A to B.
