The geometry of a low wing aircraft with dihedral makes it impossible to do this
Thanks for the explanation of something I've often wondered about too. But... does this mean in effect a tube or hose joining the highest part of each tank? If so (or even if not) why is it harder with low wing than with high wing? (Written by a happy 182 pilot who has never had to worry about switching tanks!).
