Under the FAA it is a common type as it is under EASA so please tell me where the concrete proof is. Im far more interested in what EASA and the FAA do and say than an Asian CAA considering EASA and the FAA are what that world aviation standards are based off.
Under FAA the 787 and 777 are two different ratings, same with the A330 and A350. There was a FAA report suggesting a common type ratings for the 787 and 777 however they never implemented it.

In Europe under EASA the 777/787 and A330/A350 are common type ratings.

Taiwan CAA follows the FAA in this instance.
