Further to my post 840, westbound on M27 a few days ago, as a passenger, had chance to look at the vegetation versus 02 approach lights situation -absolutely horrific! Can any aircrew give an idea what, if any, of the approach lighting is visible? I would speculate that at best there some large gaps. Just how do SOU get away with such a safety related issue?
RW20, ref your post 920, sorry for delay responding, would not speculate other than expect work to be done in cooler months to minimise impact to any temporary reduced declared distances necessary to accommodate the work.
