And here is the paradox...if they hadn’t gone on this misadventure the jobs wouldn’t have existed in the first place. It was bold, it was ambitious, and it might just have worked - while I sincerely feel for those just made unemployed, surely most would have known they were taking a chance.
I have to to admit I didn’t think Primera would have longevity, but my feeling was it was being primed for a takeover or being sold on. Certainly there were rumours of a JetBlue tie-up which was one of my theories...if that was true perhaps talks collapsed which triggered these events
