The present king of the Netherlands flew anonymously for many years with KLM. In fact, it only became public knowledge when he ascended the throne and had to quit flying. Even inside KLM, few people knew their future king took the helm from time to time, and to help keep it a secret he always flew with the same skipper. Don't know of any other members of European royal families who've flown a commercial jet. And if there are, that's just further proof not everyone needs or seeks the attention.
The Dutch king is still flying today as 737 copilot.
