Fiendflug [operational sortie, underlined in red] is then rated by the authenticating officer to give a score [also in red on the right margin]. The running total then, presumably, counts towards your
Eisernes Kreuz which turns up in the post eventually! Wow, what a lot of administration and record-keeping ... didn't they know there was a War going on?
