Cadix mostly decoded police or SS ciphers, also intercepted U-Boat communications, etc. A number of Poles, who were not in France, were employed on Sigint on the Soviet Union, listening to their communications and breaking their codes. Since late 1941 this was their exclusive job, and unbroken codes were then passed to Bletchley.
