Agree 100% PD. Having been through the ringer investigating one who initially only lied (in multiple jurisdictions) about being on antidepressants, was subsequently suspected of having some kind of personality disorder with multiple false identities and other totally bizarre behaviours, and was somehow (inexplicably in my opinion) cleared to go back to flying for at least a period of time...the system is not currently working and, rightly or wrongly perception does appear to be skewed away from “it’s better to be honest” towards “it’s better to never admit to anything”. The sooner those who outright lie are adequately punished, the better for all concerned (IMHO!!)
