There is a big difference between not being wholly forthcoming about the fact that you might be having some "wellbeing problems" and downright lying about the fact that you are on a government disability pension for mental health issues. You're either not being truthful about your mental health and your fitness to be a Professional Pilot or you're defrauding the VA for a medical pension you're not entitled to. You can't have it both ways i'm afraid.
