The pay on offer is not HKG standard. If you are forced to accept taxation in Ireland (which seems to be happening to many of them) you will lose 50% or more of your Gross. The AHK FO’s you will be flying with will be earning way more than you as Capt. Even before tax. They’re having trouble retaining pilots. Not keeping promises on rostering etc. Work permit issues too.
Nice Irish guys in charge of the training though. Better pay and tax planning would sort it out, but not likely.
