FOR THOSE LOOKING IN FROM THE OUTSIDE:
What this article fails to address is the fine print items in COS '18. Not only will your salary be lower and heavily dependent upon productivity, it will have many fewer pay points for all ranks that would normally increase your compensation annually throughout your career, with a few exceptions. Your guaranteed days off will decrease, your positioning pay (as a passenger) will decrease to half of the current rate, your annual leave entitlement will decrease, and your company retirement contribution will drop by 36% from current levels. Many of these items were already at lower levels than competitors in Europe, USA, Middle East, etc for current employees. Second class citizen? You bet.
