‘Mainline’ is referring to the fleet type- for qantas international, ‘mainline’ means 330/747 and ‘world fleet’ is 380/787
QCCA (or ‘part 2’) is the only current contract offered for international flying on QF and has been since 10 years. The older contract are referred to as QAL.
Currently the new groundschools since late August seem to all be fixed term contracts of 6-9 months duration there has been no permanent FT GS announced yet

Just noticed the c9mmebts re: mainline. I don't think they've recruited directly into mainline for ages. Once QCCA came in that's pretty much it. I think a few transferred over from the old lists but the transfer lists have been around since the dinosaurs. I'd be surprised if they are actually offering mainline, non QCCA as they made mainline crew redundant. They wouldn't be allowed to rehire without taking them back first??
