Thanks for all the replies. After a couple of weeks walking, a complete change of diet I’ve lost 4 Kgs already, and my blood sugar level has dropped from 49 to 46, and cholesterol from 5.4 to 4.6.

Still very much in the danger zone, but it feels good to actually see scientific progress.
