Yes it is as the airlines aren't buying a runway. They'll be "renting" by the landing!
I've rented a number of large commercial properties and gotten up to a three month "rent free" holiday on rents. Never paid to rent before is was able to be occupied after all as stated I'm not buying. If it flies, floats and is an airport, rent it!!
