Very interesting Nutty, hope you are well.
according to Wiki this is over 11k ft and the second most climbed mountain in the world. I wonder which is the most climbed.
If it was in the Uk our guys would need to fly on oxygen at that height. Impressed by the discipline of those being rescued. No rush or panic.
My Daughter said she would like to climb a mountain. My knees are had it but I may do Mam Tor before she goes back to school. My idea of mountaineering these days is the Mad Cat at Pidley. (Folks in Cambridgeshire will understand)
