Mr. Mathews, do you support the changes to the Act agreed by Barnaby Joyce and Anthony Albanese??
Why on earth would the L/NP appoint someone to chair a board if they didn't know exactly where he would stand, or know that they could control him?
...and as others have pointed out, how much power do we think the board (and particularly, the Chairman) actually has over the operations of the (lack of) "Safety Authority"?
