Found this an interesting read, despite one or two naysayers (miserable spoil sports).....!!

My list, entirely as SLF covers some 70 odd types mostly the "usual suspects".
My first flight(s) was in a Vickers Viking (don't think it has had a mention yet).
November 1952 out of Blackbushe, two and half days to Nairobi. Although I was
only seven at the time I remember loads of details. A memorable trip. It took
place only 20 years after the African route was opened up by Imperial Airways.
I do feel some affinity to the "pioneers" as we only few in daylight (two stops, Malta
and Khartoum) and the a/c was unpressurised so we did not fly much above 8000 -
10000 ft. A further 30 years on in 1983 covered the same route in about 8 hours,
BA 747 direct Heathrow to NBI. Progress....!!!

Possibly my most unusual type is a New Standard D29. Not too difficult to achieve,
at the time about $ 30.00 out of Old Rhinebeck.

Always looking for opportunities to fly in different type both commercial airline and
GA types. Last year I added Dornier 328 Jet to the list. Manchester to Billund.
Great flight, great experience, great cabin service. LoCo is was not!! while
in Denmark achieved another first, first flight in a gyrocopter.

Down in Cornwall this September, wondering if I can add Islander and DHC-6
to my list !!! Missed out on the S-61s.......!!

A "spotting" pal of mine at Eastleigh (Southampton) in 1963 probably
achieved a most unusual flight: a five minute circuit in the prone pilot
position in the R&S Desford G-AGOS. That flight could, of course, now
be repeated. Not sure how the front part is currently set up.
