Cable operated. Someone may have already posted this, but here's a link to a left engine fire incident on a C-131F. The report noted... "
The examination revealed significant heat damage to the rear spar of the left wing, and to a flexible hose associated with the left brakes. Additionally, the left aileron primary control cable was noted to be drooping."
