It is the early flights that stick in the memory:
Ambassador, Caravelle, Viscount, Vanguard. HS748 on a charter from Teesside to Morlaix. Dan-Air Comet. CrabAir VC10 Brize to Sydney. BCal 707 Gatwick to Singapore which I think was one of those 'bent' charters, the smell of over a hundred people using Tiger Balm Oil for popping ears will stay forever in the nostrils. Lots of newer stuff but they hold little charm.
