I recall years back there was a company in the UK which offered headsets service:
Headset Services Limited - Headsets, Helmets and Handsets at Shoreham.They had good comments from customers.
Another possible source may be at ebay.com or barnstormers.com where inoperative headset could be ocassionally bought for a penny.
