You flew RYR and I suspect looked for cheapest deal. As we ALL would. That trickles down the food chain in terms of Labour rates and seasonal work.
The problem is STN is in the middle of nowhere. I moved here and am aware of cost of commute. Passengers are coming from/ to London, they will pay premium fares etc but if you work here its a different story.
How can an employee be expected to pay daily rates to commute from outskirts of London.
Wage rates in the industry are lamentable !
There are simply no large cities within easy commute with sufficient size workforce to fill these jobs.
