RD - Thames controllers are a law unto themselves. A lot of them are also Heathrow Tower guys. Say no more!
Do Bealine fly to Insbruck? If so, book me onto the first spare jumpseat. I have only ever experienced the approach on my computer (several 1000 times), but I have been to the airport and it is very different. (there is also a nice alpine zoo on the little hill next to the runway - but thats a differnt story).
Pointer - I apologise for the unintended insult about floaty landings. I do sympathise, after all, it can't be easy flying an aircraft which outlived the cold war. Long live Rekkof! I look forward to you cartwheeling down the runway in your F70s when you get them. I believe the French flew them in for a short while, but scared the s*** out of themselves and us, and gave up.
Will you still be able to backtrack and depart in a 4 mile gap?
