There are loads of great hotels and restaurants in Burlingame which is very close to SFO. This is where just about every airlines’ crews layover. I don’t understand why CX always has to break with the industry and do random crap like transport crew all the way across town and over the Bay Bridge to Oakland. That is insane!!! Aren’t these patterns fatiguing enough? Why add an hour transport on both ends? It’s truly maddening. Keep in mind that traffic will be horrible for much of the day along this route. I bet there are some hotel and allowance savings over there that offset the added transport cost. Crazy!!!
