Here in Europe we have economies too but we also have a thing called society which is not based exclusively on money. It varies from place to place as do our economies and we have some things that you in America don't; like free speech, the willingness not to bear arms and a degree of concern rather than contempt for the less well off in our societies.
Fortunately there is a big ocean between us ( or along haul flight if you prefer) so you can live your lives and we can live ours .
