Normally I am a pretty quiet moderator, but the other night I clocked on to find that an easy 30% of the threads really had nothing to do with the Technical discussion of flying aeroplanes - so I had a bit of a general clean-up.
Now the whole idea of being a moderator is to[list=1][*]protect PPRuNe form legal action arising from slander
(thankfully extremely rare in
Tech Log),[*]keep discussions to a posting and picture content level that doesn't break the server,[*]preserve the character of the forum - this includes keeping an eye on the language
, and sheparding "lost
threads" to a more appropriate area, and[*]provide an online community for people to play
