The perception is yes Ryanair are cheaper in general. And you do get what you pay for. But in the summer holidays their is not a massive amount of difference in price between the airlines.
Just looked at prices for Majorca 07/08-14/08
Ryanair: £192 (STN)
Easyjet: £185 (STN)
Easyjet: £160 (LTN)
Norwegian: £150 (LGW)
British Airways £186 (LGW/LCY)
Minimal difference really, passengers in the summer just book what’s more convenient on price and availability. They don’t really care who they travel airline wise, as long as they have a holiday really.
