Glasgow Heliport & Bond NLB support
For some time now, I have been researching the history of the Glasgow Heliport and would like to thank all who have kindly helped me with photos and information (I shall be contacting each individually). I have one missing area and I was wondering if some kind Bond/Babcock person could help me and that is the NLB support work carried out from the Glasgow Heliport which I believe was moved up from Prestwick in April 1997 or thereabouts. If someone could kindly provide me with some registrations of helicopters that have operated and been maintained at the Heliport on the NLB support work, that would be ideal.
I have been doing the research as one of six people researching the history of aviation in Glasgow and upper Clydeside which we are looking to have published as a giant tome in 2019. We are just carrying out the final pieces of research now.
