Actually it's perfectly true.
When I used to plan the display, (1976 to 2004 incl) I was always asked not to schedule 'noisy' aircraft before about 2.30pm because it would disturb those still having lunch.
From 2004, 'Farnborough International' decided to employ someone else to arrange the display. He had different views from me, claiming he was an experienced display 'designer' and refused to accept any input from me.
