OMA and part C (company routes). Yes, I agree with it being regarded as a valuable tool and not just legal goobly gook! Leaving the safety argument alone, who can interpret the new flight time limitations in OM A when you need real time confirmation from them and not comfortable at a desk.
Seems to me though the quality of the route manuals have dropped off or showing fewer updates with the categorisation of airfields, A,B or C. Nobody bothers much with cat A airfields, although they can be negotiated with a lot more finesse with some up to date operational information. Lido and Jepp usually do a good job but can get into legal type definitions occasionally.
